Good locations

Potential living space locations include; East, West windows with some direct sun, a South window or a three to four seasons room with slight shade, but will grow better with more light. This species will tolerate very cool days and cold nights, but will need the temperatures to remain above 20 °F. If this variety is to be set outdoors during the growing season it needs to be in a location with plenty of sun and will tolerate lots of rain. The importance of a long cool winter rest where water is completely withheld needs to be highly emphasized with this species. It is normal for the plant to shrink while it remains dry for at least a four month period, which begins around December.
